At Kinney, Fernandez & Boire we know that an accident is a big thing to worry about. But, every day there are bigger problems occurring for individuals in the Tampa Bay Community. That’s why we’re doing all we can to help.

Our firm has called Tampa Bay “home” for more than 30 years, and it is where we want to leave a legacy for the residents that follow. Members of our KFB Law team have been active supporters of community efforts for many years. From coaching team sports to leading charitable committees, volunteering at community events and donating to those in need— we’ve always made an active effort to give back to Tampa Bay whenever possible.
Community Action Plan

But, we knew we could do more.

In 2016, we formed the Kinney, Fernandez & Boire Community Action Program, a consolidated effort focused on enhancing and empowering the lives of children in Tampa Bay. The Community Action Program includes:

Employee Volunteer Days

Each KFB Law employee receives one paid day off each calendar year to volunteer at the family or youth-focused charitable organization of their choice. We proudly share our staff stories on social media and hope to bring more awareness to the charities they benefit.

Group
Volunteer Events

The team that volunteers together, achieves together. With that in mind, the entire KFB Law staff selects group volunteer days every year to gather on behalf of a charitable organization, and give back to those in need. Past group volunteer days have benefited Metropolitan Ministries, the Ronald McDonald House and Make-A-Wish.

Community Drive

Throughout the year, different needs arise for those in need. Although we’re a small team, we know we can make a big impact. Our KFB Law staff arranges several community drives each year including collecting Valentine’s Cards for kids to exchange, school supplies for local students, non-perishable food for Feeding Tampa Bay and more.

Pay It Forward Fund

The KFB Law Pay It Forward Fund is founded on the belief that actions of giving amplify and inspire other actions of giving. Each month one employee receives money that they can use for a charitable act of their choice. Our creative staff has used their Pay It Forward dollars towards special donations to local charities, purchasing needed supplies, and helping individual families.
