Marcus Fernandez

Marcus FernandezInspired by an unrelenting passion for helping others, Marcus Fernandez entered the South Texas College of Law shortly after completing his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Central Florida in 2004. While enrolled, Mr. Fernandez interned for the Honorable Chris W. Altenbernd in the Second District Court of Appeal and the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial District and worked as a summer associate for Swope, Rodante P.A.

Mr. Fernandez is a highly-skilled Tampa Trial Lawyer dedicated to representing victims who have suffered an injury due to another person’s negligence. Since joining Kinney, Fernandez & Boire, P.A. in 2008, Mr. Fernandez has represented individuals injured due to vehicular negligence, product liability, or abuse, as well as the families of those who have lost a loved one due to wrongful death.

Perhaps most notable is Mr. Fernandez’s dedication to the Tampa Bay community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish® Southern Florida and their Advisory Board. In addition, he has led planning efforts for several of the organization’s marquee events, including the Wishmakers’ Ball, for which he served as chair for four consecutive years. In February 2019, Mr. Fernandez was honored for his dedication and philanthropy when he was named a Tampa Bay Lightning Community Hero.

When he’s not working or volunteering, Mr. Fernandez can be found on the golf course, cooking, or enjoying time with his wife and young son.
